As closed circuit television (CCTV) technology becomes more advanced, and uses become more widespread, there are many electronic manufacturers jumping on the bandwagon offering multiple different product lines. With all of the options available, it can be difficult to choose the right equipment for your needs.

With reliability and accuracy a definite concern, you want to be sure you get products that can withstand the test of time and deliver when and what you expect them too. One of the more recognized leaders in the industry is CBC (America) Corp., which manufactures Ganz security cameras.

The Ganz CCTV equipment product line encompasses a wide variety of compact surveillance cameras, housing mounts, monitors, multiplexers, Quads, VCRs as well as DVRs. The Ganz brand has been around for more than 25 years, and has gained recognition as one of the industry leaders in CCTV equipment. Along with their line of security cameras, CBC Corp. manufactures a line of lenses called Computar that work with all of their Ganz camera offerings. Together they make for an unbeatable combination.

Here is a look at some of the different camera types Ganz offers along with some unique product details:

  • CS-Mount Cameras -- Basically, these cameras are a standard base type camera that can be used with 2/3” or 1” camera lenses. Ganz’s offers a variety of selections in their CS-Mount line. You can select from either black and white or color cameras, which all come with an automatic electric iris that accommodates all varying lighting conditions day or night without jeopardizing the picture quality.

All cameras come easy to install, and come with special outdoor housings to accommodate outdoor installations. Their ZC-NH255N 1/3” day/night camera makes an ideal 24-hour surveillance camera because it combines high-resolution color images during the day, and automatically switches over to crystal clear black and white images at night.

  • Dome Cameras -- These are a lower cost surveillance camera alternative, and are mainly used for residential and small commercial type installations. The Ganz line offers both indoor and outdoor models with varying resolution options and mounting accessories.

  • Board Cameras -- Cameras of this type consist of just the basic camera component itself, and don’t come with any type of housing. Because of this fact, they are very small in size and can be adapted and used for more covert surveillance settings. Ganz sells both black and white and color Board cameras again in varying resolutions, and they also sell housings that allow their board cameras to be mounted outdoors.

  • IP Cameras -- Ganz also offers a VideoJet 10S IP-based video transmitter. Their IP Cameras works in combination with any of their CCTV camera equipment and can be networked to transmit both video and audio images, which can be viewed online or through a monitor depending on whether or not you need remote viewing capabilities.

With all of these available options, you are sure to find a camera in the Ganz line of products to suit any of your surveillance needs. Take a look at the following link to learn more, www.cbcamerica.com.
